Gigabit Fiber Internet
Perfect for work and online gaming.
All customers are able to get up to 50Mbps upload & download for free via the ethernet port accessible on the underside of the internet box located on each site. Speeds may vary during peak hours.
Free park-wide wifi available!
Instructions:
Connect ethernet cable to port on the underside of the internet box located on your site.
Run ethernet cable into your RV.
Connect ethernet cable to your router.
Setup router per manufacturer’s manual.
Category 5e or higher recommended for ethernet cable. Length may vary depending on how far you need to run the ethernet cable from the box outside to the inside of your RV where the router will reside.
We recommend connecting a router from the inside of your RV to an ethernet cable that goes to the internet box so a separate network can be setup for your security and safety.
Free park-wide wifi is also available with speeds up to 24Mbps, keep in mind that the signal may not penetrate into your RV that well but is great for outside use.
What’s the difference between Megabits (Mbps) and Megabytes(MB)?
One megabyte is equal to eight megabits, but the terms are used in specific ways: Megabits per second (Mbps) are generally used to describe the speed of an Internet connection, whereas megabytes (MB) usually refer to the size of a file or storage space.
Park backhaul internet is protected via an enterprise firewall, however for guest side security we recommend using a vpn, our recommended VPN is NordVPN: https://nordvpn.com/
Tips for better signal
To achieve the best signal possible, we highly recommend getting a wi-fi booster for your RV.
RV's are essentially encased in metal thus the signal quality can be affected.
The link below will provide important information as to what a wi-fi booster is, how it can help you get better signal and suggestions for purchasing your own.
